2024 LEMONT KEEPATAW PARADE WITH THE PIRATES OF THE CANAL

This was my 3rd year walking in the Lemont Keepataw Parade as key photographer for The Pirates of the Canal charity organization. The parade takes place on Labor Day weekend every year and while the parade route only takes 10-15 minutes to complete is my toughest event to cover. I only capture photographs for one group as they make their way through the route quite literally having to run to put myself in position to capture the essence of the scene. Luckily the second portion of photography is much easier to manage as a family fun fest takes place immediately following the parade. Though it is a challenge, it is one I happily take on.
